I'm a Virginia-based professional photographer and adventure travel creator behind @shedarestogo.

For six years, I've been traveling solo with my daughter, who is almost 9. No partner, no waiting around, just us and the open road. I've learned how to plan trips that are epic, safe, and actually doable with one adult and one kid.

I started this blog for the moms who keep putting off the trip. You don't need a two-person income. You don't need another adult packing the car. You need a plan that works for real life, and that's what I share here.

When I'm not on the road, I'm at home in Virginia planning the next one.
